Bring Me The Horizon, Football and Fan Protests: January 2024 in Ten Photos
After a hectic end to the year, thankfully January is traditionally a quiet month in terms of live music and events. Allowing time for the body (and wallet) to recover from the hectic festive period, the first few weeks of the New Year are generally quiet and January 2024 was no different with only one tour of note taking place.

Hitting the road in January were Sheffield rock band Bring Me The Horizon who headed out on a full arena tour of the UK with Bad Omens and Cassyette rounding out the line-up. So, a quick trip up to Newcastle was made to catch the band and what a performance. Their huge production was flawless and demonstrated again why they are now fully-fledged arena and festival headliners.

Elsewhere, football returned to both Manse Lane and Walton Hall Park with both Knaresborough Town and Everton Women back in action after the festive break. Thankfully, there weren’t too many postponements from the winter weather and, unsurprisingly, fans from the Blue half of Merseyside continued their protesting at Walton Hall Park, making their feelings known to the Premier League following a points deduction at the end of 2023 due to financial irregularities.

That was January 2024 in a nutshell and here are ten of my image pics from the first month of what rapidly became another busy year.
