Although festival season kicks off in ernest in June, the return of alt rock festival Slam Dunk in May is now the first festival of the season for many and, after the challenges of the previous year’s event, it was going to be interesting to see how the festival adapted to post-COVID life.
Elsewhere opera legend Andre Rieu packed out Leeds Arena, there was a couple of major Cup Games to wrap up the sport season while Paloma Faith, Tiny Habits and Fletcher rounded out the gig calendar for what was a busy month.
