June is always the start of a busy period and 2024 was no different.
The major news of the month was the death of rugby league legend Rob Burrow and, unsurprisingly, fans from across the country poured in to the Headingly Rugby Stadium to leave tributes before lining the streets for his funeral procession later in the month.
Elsewhere, Man Utd stars past and present turned out for the premiere of the ’99 film which documented their most successful era. Castle Donington rocked as Download returned for a weekend headlined by the likes of Avenged Sevenfold while stars like Sheryl Crow, Johnny Marr and P!nk were amongst the acts performing massive outdoor gigs across the region.
